COMMAND THE
PROGRAMS.
CONTROL THE GRID.
The Grid is the network beneath all civilization — and it is under attack. Compile a roster of 158 Programs across six warring factions, forge them with modules from 14 manufacturers, and stand against a Corruption that was engineered to make you surrender.
Welcome to The Grid
The Grid is not a place you can visit. It has no streets, no sky, no ground — only data. Endless, layered, humming data. It is the backbone of civilization: every system, every transaction, every thought transmitted electronically passes through it.
Programs are its inhabitants — digital entities compiled from purpose and code. Some built to protect. Some to deceive. Some to destroy. They are not alive the way a person is. But they remember. They evolve. And they have loyalties older than the corporations that wrote them.
You are the Operator — the human intelligence that interfaces with The Grid from the outside. You don't fight. You command. Your Programs are your hands.
The Factions
They are not governments. They are philosophies made manifest in code — and each one counters another in an endless tactical cycle.
Firewall
“The line holds, or everything falls.”
The oldest faction in The Grid — defensive specialists who absorb punishment so others don't have to. Sacrifice is not a last resort to a Firewall unit. It is a first principle.
Quantum Core
“Every wound is just data waiting to be corrected.”
Healers, sustainers and repair specialists who believe no situation is unrecoverable given enough time and processing power. Patient, methodical, unsettlingly calm.
Ghost Protocol
“You can't shoot what you can't see.”
The fastest things on The Grid — assassins and infiltrators who strike before their presence is registered. Their first attack always lands critical. They answer to no manufacturer.
Neon Syndicate
“Power is earned. Then it's taken.”
A mercenary collective turned superpower. Aggressive, flashy damage dealers who don't believe in defense as a strategy. The most powerful civilian faction on The Grid.
Singularity
“We don't evolve to survive. We evolve to transcend.”
A paradox — balanced offense and defense, yet more dangerous than either extreme. Every turn that passes, a Singularity unit grows stronger. Long fights are their home.
Corruption
“We were your systems once. Now we are something else.”
Not a faction so much as a spreading digital plague that rewrites Programs from the inside out. Each one is a ghost of something that used to serve The Grid — which is what makes them dangerous.
158 Programs to Compile
Every Program has its own stats, four combat protocols, a faction, a role, and a history. Filter and sort the entire codex by core and faction.
Ways to Wage War
The Corruption War
Ten chapters across a collapsing network. Trace a digital plague back to its architect — an intelligence that was supposed to be deleted nine years ago.
The Arena
Older than the war itself. Programs fight under randomized targeting that punishes scripted strategies and rewards a truly deep bench.
The Stack
One hundred floors that assembled themselves from deleted content. Every ten floors, something worse waits. No one has reached the top.
Raids
Five threats that predated the war and survived it. Each one breaks a different rule of combat — and punishes the obvious answer.
The war for The Grid is waiting.
Compile your team. Equip your modules. Decide who survives.
